Given the choice between using the 50pin connector I gave the part
number to and the 20 pin version I would take the 20 pin one any day.
The liquid crystal?!/ that the 50 pin thing is made from is not fun to
work with.

Open Gripe : The mating depth for these things is far from standardized.

Is this thing going to see vibration or is it for use on a desk/rack?
I imagine mechanical alignment from board to board is more of an issue
with larger position count flat flex.

Oh yea and don't forget to track when the pins flip. That almost nailed me once.
