For such kind of problems it may be faster to ask diff or google:

diff schem1.sch schem1.bak

google "Trying to rename something twice gsch2pcb"

Note that you can import schematics directly into PCB program also, so
maybe you do not really have to use gsch2pcb. But of course, import may
also show problems.
