I can confirm gnetlist drops the components whose value= attribute is empty.
I use the last git version so the bug still exists.

Could you file a bug report on launchpad, please?

I think the solution should be discussed since neither gnetlist
nor gschem output any error in such cases while gschem forbids
empty attribute values according to the Master Attribute document,
and I believe they should do.
