Indeed, your pictures look like you have some problems with your font
subsystem. I'd recommend you to try a patch lying somewhere at launchpad
to change the font used for export, but I am not sure it will apply and
work now... You can try to export to Postscript and change the
font manually in the source to see what it will look like. Then
you have two options: 1. fix your font subsystem 2. add some sed
script to change font in the output postscript file (search for
Helvetica or Arial to find it) and a command to convert it to pdf
to your Makefile.
