On my home bench, I have an old OKI SA1000. It's great - never lets me 
down. Only thing is it's always on, so if you have to use very high 
temperatures then the tip gets junked up.

At work, we always use very high settings - so without the auto shut off 
of Metcal or Hakko, tips last about 5 minutes :D
