Hmm, maybe I should try to find the French originals. Engineering French is annoying with all the unnecessary jargon devised by the Academy, but I can usually puzzle it out.

One problem with professional translation of technical documents is that the translators often don't adequately understand the subject matter. You really need to be qualified to write the document from scratch to be able to translate it properly.
