Subject: [geda-user] Pager Motors
To: geda-user AT delorie DOT com
Reply-To: geda-user AT delorie DOT com

Does anybody on this list have any experience with pager motors
(vibrational motors) such as the ones shown at
http://pagermotors.com/Products.php?f_category=Pager?

I'm trying to figure out what the specification "1.5V @ 70mA" might
mean in this context. Does that mean the motor requires at least 1.5V
in order to start spinning? Does it mean that if I apply more than
1.5V I'll burn something up? Does the "@ 70mA" mean that's the most
current the motor will draw? Or does it mean that, if I apply 1.5V,
the motor will draw 70mA?

Any thoughts? Pointers to data sheets? Real life examples?

Thanks folks!
