 With the files as in:
http://aspodata.se/tmp/Test/gaf_pdf/

 If I run (log is in above link):

gaf export -o test.pdf test.sch 2> log

 I get a pdf without text nor pins, just the boxes.

 Does anyone know why ?

Sorry cannot bisect this, I get too many build failures, I gave up on
that, but

$ /usr/bin/gaf --version
gEDA/gaf 1.9.2 (g7b0ee03)

works ok.
