For both LT-Spice and QUCS network conversion, translate2geda has to
substitute its own symbols with appropriate geometry that match the grid
dimensions used for the wires and terminals in the simulator's network.

These symbols were crafted to be compatible with QUCS and LT-Spice outputs,
but their geometry is not a feature of the Spice models themselves. Their
geometry is a by product of the grid used in the simulator layout tool.

There is no geometry associated with the models as far as a I can tell that
would enable either a symbol or a network of wires to be generated that
could form all or part of a gschem schematic.

Regards,

Erich.
