I just took it a little further for the information. Nothing more really. The value for CS changed depending on the programs/data you already had loaded. DOS set DX to CS most of the time at program start (.COM start). Maybe it did a: mov dx,cs mov ds,dx mov es,dx just before DOS gave control to CS:100h. I don't know, I never single stepped it to find out.
