When we were heavy into the Hugi Compo
   http://www.hugi.scene.org/compo/
there were a lot of people concerned with what the initial
DOS values were at program start. I just took it a little
further for the information. Nothing more really.

The value for CS changed depending on the programs/data
you already had loaded. DOS set DX to CS most of the time
at program start (.COM start). Maybe it did a:

  mov dx,cs
  mov ds,dx
  mov es,dx

just before DOS gave control to CS:100h. I don't know,
I never single stepped it to find out.

Thanks,
Ben
