I tested 2.03p2 on XP before release, and I continue to use many of
the utilities under XP without problems. But I am not building new
applications, so can't claim to be a heavy user anymore.

v2.04 has many additional features and greater compatiblity with newer
(and additional) library functions. Since it had continued development
after the v2.03p2 refresh, there may be additional compatibility fixes,
but I don't remember any. It would be nice if someone would
remind us if they have seen different behavior.

Juan Manuel Guerrero provides Libsupp which allows v2.03 to build
many of the newer applications which require the new library calls.
