Ok, for the moment I am using QEMU.
Not the best situation but better than nothing, and I can xcopy
everything from it on to a cd
once I have it setup. its alot easier to connect to the internet get
files etc the laptop doesn't have a
network card at the moment anyway. LOL

I am preparing to install DJGPP. I'm following the instructions and
thats ok. :)

but I see an install.exe is that up to date? Should I use it or go
file by file unzipping?

Next is the development environment.

Since I am used to Visual Stupid for the most part, I don't really
understand all the make file business.
Should I just use rhide to start.
or
Its prob way different than I am used to so maybe I should bite the
bullet and learn to do it
with emacs or something. And learn the make file method?
