FreeDOS guys are just busy, I guess. Sad, really, they need more

fdisk - create a FAT partition, mark as active, reboot
format - make readable by DOS
sys c: - adds boot sector, kernel.sys, command.com
I don't think Linux is really any easier now (esp. when UMSDOS isn't
supported by the 2.6.x series). Then again, nothing is.

QEMU is good, just not as fast as you'd like. In particular, I don't
think compiling there is such a good idea. But feel free to
suffer^H^H^H^H try anyways. ;-)
