Rod, I trust your experience here. So I'm sure you're aware that
Simtel lacks much (or is outdated) making it not too useful anymore.
Most OS/2 sites (even Hobbes) lack some current stuff, and what is
there (even EMX-compiled) doesn't usually work in DOS. And SAC mirrors
are good (now), but I've had to send a billion e-mails for a billion
files just because they were heavily outdated (and still need to check
again one of these days since I've not had time for e-mailing them
recently.)

In short, it's easy to say, "No one uses it or no one cares", but
that's a fallacy, you just have to know where to look!! (Feel free to
ask, I have spent some time on this.)
