"if nobody complains about the new version, we can retire the old version" Usually we post a list on djgpp-workers, and see if nobody can think of a reason to keep anything on the list. Everything else is retired. Note that "retired" means "moved to the deleted/ subdirectory" - they're still available in case we make a mistake.
