I would then suggest to try 2.18.92 from sources.redhat.com

There are several steps to be done for porting:
- fixing libeberty build (see how I did it for GCC-4.3.2). You need also
   autoconf-2.59 for this (exactly that version). gcc-4.3.2 was better in this part.
- fixing DJGPP linker scripts (see last available DJGPP ports of binutils or my
   SRPM package available from ftp://ftp.delorie.com)
