Another suggestion is that you goto www.delorie.com and search the
Mail archives.

If you want an explanation I suggest you have a look at GCC and the
Binutils (AS) and the offending line and decode the error based on the
GCC and Binutils source code as you have found out this has allready
been fixed and as such people in most cases are more inclined to
ignore this type of post as there are more important issues to help
out with.
