Given the name of the poster, I feel like I'm walking
into a trap.  But in the off-chance that this is a
real post and a real question:

You said you tried to save the file as 
"*Hello World!.c"

But neither "*" nor "!" are valid characters for a DOS
file name, because they represent wild cards.  Try it
again, except this time save the file as
"Hello World.c"
