Frankly I doubt being blind means you don't want any context. But not
being blind I can be wrong.

And of course they wouldn't need to listen to the whole message again
if you trim the post. In my experience it seems that top posting
and leaving the whole untrimmed message in your reply goes
hand-in-hand. (Is the common denominator lazyness?)

The problem with top posting is that the natural flow of the text goes
backwards, which means that you get to read the answer before the
answer before the question. This is confusing when you happen to
stumble on a thread where you haven't seen the start.

Note also that the verbosity and unexactness of answering several
questions increases while top posting.
