This points toward a mix-up of different GCC and GPC versions as the
most likely reason for this problem.  Please show us the file
output.txt generated by

	redir -eo gpc -v -o hello.exe hello.pas > output.txt

Be sure to read it yourself and check it for strange things, too.

I'm pretty sure that you shouldn't have had to copy the [gcc] section
of djgpp.env over to [gpc].   Why did you do that?
