What he means is that the DJGPP installaion is probably not done.  You
have to set your environment variables including the PATH according to
Readme.1st

Now, you will probably have the va_list problem.  Look at all the
discussion on this.

Allegro is great, but like anything else, its going to take some work
to understand.  The examples are pretty good (although in the old days
they seemed to be more in order).  I wish I were good enough to write
a book on Allegro.  Has anyone done this?
