This isn't strictly true - you noted in another message that go32-v2
gives you output - and it's a DJGPP image ... (the 0 swap is normal on 2K)

What command shell are you using?  CMD.EXE? Command.com?  Third party?
Which images give the appropriate output?  Which ones don't?
Are all the binaries which have problems dated December 2001 or later?
Dates/times/which distribution?  Are you sure the path is correct?
