Hi all,
I'm trying to create my first C++ program in GNU C++. According to the Weekend
crashcourse by Stephen R. Davis I should be able to do it in a weekend. However
it has taken more than a weekend to install the Djgpp programs from the Delorie
website. I've succcessfully downloaded the necessary files,but having problems
with the DJDIR variable. The error appears as soon as the RHIDE program
appears. It clearly states that DJDIR variable has not been set (or is
incorrectly set). I've checked that the other variables i.e. Path=C:\DJGPP\BIN
and DJGPP=C:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV have been set as per instructions. I've gone
through the installation procedures several times but to now avail. I'm
wondering if anyone has experienced similar problems. Any comments would help.
