I can ask my ad agent if they check for .edu domains.  Interesting
question.

How about this idea - Members can submit their own ads to be shown to
non-members when my agent doesn't have paid ads to put in those spots.

And I don't think I could ever build a member area that had content
that was *only* available to members.  Perhaps you'd have to be a
member to *submit* stuff, but not to view it.

Any publication requires dedication from authors to produce timely
content.  I'm not sure how feasible this would be.  It depends on how
many of *you* would be willing to write a substantial article every N
weeks to keep it interesting.
