Thanks for your help but:
a) I can't find a 1.5.0 version on www.rhide.com; I can only find the
1.4.9.1 version (I did find one that had been rebuild as late as January of
this year.
b) The Project->Write Makefile option is grayed out, so I must have some
type of installation problem(?)
c) I don't have any problem with the screen display so the -S made no
difference.
d) It doesn't crash - just doesn't compile my sources properly. (By hitting
Alt-F9 over and over, I was able to see that the compile line does seem to
be correct.)
