martinS,

ive been using computers in some way shape or form for nearly 20 years now.
im getting confused. i understand changing the subject line is not a good
thing to do.

where can i/we get information on 'how to properly use a new group'.
information such as 'no top posting', ubject lines and the like.

i belong to tso-rexx and regina-l list servers and they dont follow the
rules that are implied on this one. people do change the subject line, but
they put in paren's what the subject used to be.

any info you could provide would be helpful.

Sure. But you did again now. Note my subject. It starts with "Re: "

have your subject, exactly, "Postal posting brings success.".

: Nobody heard of it?? Sorry. New one for prosterity.

Yes, and the poor soul trying to follow this thread in the archives
will never know that it was solved because you changed the subject
line again.

Right,
