i have an idea! when i first found out about djgpp and dj delorie, i thought
your first name was 'delorie' too and i was wrong and never got reprimanded.
why not do this, when someone joins the list you send an automatic e-mail
to them that states who you are and how you would like to be addressed. also
include a little blurb about how we should use correct grammar and spelling.
an i see a bunch of bad spelling in e-mails that are posted here.
just my thoughts.

It's not polite to refer to people you don't know by their family
names. "Hey DJ," would have been better, but still not appropriate
because this is a mailing list, not my personal email address. Your

No, there is no such thing as DJGPP for BeOS. DJGPP is a port of the
GNU tools to DOS. Porting a DOS port to a different operating system
makes no sense. You should be looking for a port of the GNU tools
themselves to BeOS, which would have nothing to do with DJGPP. Try
searching for "gcc beos" with your favorite internet search engine.
And it's spelled "you" not "u".
