Subject: Frequent crashes with DJGPP executables.
Reply-To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com

Since I have installed an additional disk of 20Gbyte (2 partitions)
several of my previously compiled (date is not more than one year)
suddenly crash, not with page fault, but with a "non conforme" (in
French, message by Windows 98SE) operation with emty delails, only an
address 00C5:xxxx (I don't remember the value of xxxx).

This did not happen before, but it is frequenc since I installed the
additional HDD.

Usually, the crash no more happens when I open a fresh new MSDOS
window. And the srash only happens WHEN my Netscape 4.76 is active.
Thus, this looks like a memory (RAM) fault, although the error message
(a rectangular grey window with MSDOS in the upper blue banner) is not
explicit.

--> Have you an idea of the cause of that trouble?

(please Reply All...).
