Some probably have, and all failed.  Because DJGPP makes _DOS_ programs,
not Windows ones.  And DirectX is strictly Windows-only.

IOW: if you want to compile DirectX apps, you need a native Windows
compiler.  In the GCC world, that means Cygwin or MinGW32.
