There's some information in the DJGPP FAQ list (section 22.9).

Note that Linux-to-alpha case is probably outside of the scope of DJGPP, 
since we only handle the cases where either the host or the target (or 
both) are a DOS/Windows system running on a IA32 processor or compatible.
