I won't recommend this change for Unix; it's better to make the string be 
system-dependent, like this:

#ifdef __DJGPP__
#define TTY "/dev/tty"
#else
#define TTY "/dev/tty0"
#endif

Then modify the sources to use TTY instead of "/dev/tty0".
