This is a known problem on Windows 2000.  You can fix it by
downloading a newer (or an older) version of RHIDE, but there are
other, more serious problems with using DJGPP on W2K waiting for you
down the line.  So I suggest to use DJGPP on another version of
Windows.

If you _must_ use W2K, I'd suggest to try the patched packages
available from here:
