Bad idea right from the start, I suspect.  The gurus are still working
rather hard to make DJGPP run correctly in a W2K environment.  Until
they release their results, using DJGPP on W2K will continue hurt.

You really could be a bit more specific. *How* did they fail to "do
it"?  Did you receive an error message, or just nothing cleared? Or a
crash?
