Hello all!
I am new to DJGPP, and I have some simple questions.
1. I just downloaded and installed DJGPP at home on a W98 machine.
Everything seems to work like a charm "out of the box". My only
complaint is the size of the .exe files: hello.c (about 60 bytes)
produces a 100k+ hello.exe. Is this normal? Any way to reduce this size?

2. I did the same at the office, on a WinNT machine. gcc works (with
the same large .exe), gxx is not recognized, but gpp is. The .exe files
are enormous (300k+ for hello.cpp). More annoying, gpp finds several
syntax or parsing errors in small programs that ran perfectly under
TurboC. Finally, Rhide stubbornly refuses to work (bad command or
filename).
echo %PATH% and echo %DJGPP% yield the expected answers. What did I
miss?
Thank you for your help and patience,
JP Grivet
