Windows98
GNU C++ version 2.95.3 20010315/djgpp (release) (djgpp)
compiled by GNU C version 2.95.3 20010315/djgpp (release)

Option -A :
-A<question> (<answer>)   Assert the <answer> to <question>

1. What is option -A used for?
   Any sample?

2. Ho to compile with that option?

Here is what I have got :

%gpp -A"abc" main.c
*Initialization*:1: missing token-sequence in `#assert'

%gpp -Aabc main.c
*Initialization*:1: missing token-sequence in `#assert'
