I've seen such messages from unzip on some rare occasions, but never had 
time to debug that.  It's quite clear that it's some bug in unzip, 
because DJTAR has no problems to unpack the same archives.

It's possible that they fail in this case, but it's still a bug IMHO.
And the message is highly misleading, if that's indeed the problem.
