Greetings ladies and gents,

I'm just hunting around the net in search of answers for a problem which has
been bugging me big time.

I work with several teams developing mods for Doom. The particular port I
use is compiled under DJGPP and uses the allegro libraries. While the
results work fine on my AMD K6, those with non AMD chips report frequent
crashing and other errors. Another port of Doom which I would like to start
using compiles fine, but when run spews out a continuous stream of register
errors until I break it off. EXEs compiled on the author's machine work
fine.

Any help you could offer would be *much* appreciated.

Thanks,
Joel D. Murdoch.
