No, you can't.  DOS doesn't support long file names, only Windows 9X/ME
and Windows 2000 do.

There are TSRs you can find on the net which add long file-name
support to DOS, but they are not widely tested with DJGPP, and you
could have some problems using them.

But you don't need long names on DOS for the DJGPP compiler and
development tools to work correctly.
