One simple failing snippet on Win2kNL/sp1:

C:\Tmp> cat test.sh
if (PATH=.; alias -x) >/dev/null 2>&1; then
    inksh=true
    fi
C:\Tmp> sh test.sh
test.sh: /dev/null: Permission denied (EACCESS)
C:\Tmp> which sh
/dev/c/Util/djgpp/Bin/sh.exe
C:\Tmp> sh --version
GNU bash, version 2.03.0(1)-release (i368-pc-msdosdjgpp) r0.6

If time permits, I'll try to reproduce the WinNT bash-2.04 crash too.
