The messages seem self-explanatory.  It looks like the sources were
written long ago, and the compiler and assembler got more picky about
mildly invalid code since then.

From the messages, it seems like the problems should be easy to fix.
If you cannot figure out what is the problem in each case, after
looking at the source line whose number is printed in the message,
post here the code fragment around the offending line together with
the error message, and someone will help you.

For example, this:

> gcc -MMD -Wall -m486 -O3 -D__JPTUI__ -D__TUIMAKER__ -c jpdata.cpp -o jpdata.o
> jpdata.cpp:84: warning: ignoring pragma:

says that there's some pragma at line 84 of jpdata.cpp which the
compiler doesn't recognize.  You should look at that line and see how
to fix that.  (In any case, this is just a warning.)
