The former is a GUI application, while the latter is a console
application.  If you want to invoke Ghostscript as a subprogram with
redirected standard handles, you _must_ use gswin32c.

If you mean that you want an lpr clone, I agree that it would be nice.  
However, it's not as trivial as it could sound because lpr has many more 
features.
