Dear colleagues,

Following the advice given in djgpp FAQ, I am contacting you, in the
hope that you might be able to help.

I am a PhD Psychology student running psychoacoustic experiments, which
have been programmed using C and DJGPP (version 2.01) + Norton
Commander. The experiments involve presenting sounds of particular form
and asking subjects to respond by pressing response keys or keyboard
keys.

The code was provided by my supervisor, who has simply become too busy
to help me with programing. At the moment, I am learning C and "playing
around" with the code in order to understand how it works - you can
assume almost total ignorance on my part.

The major problem I'm having at the moment is that I do not seem to be
able to compile (or-recompile) any of my programs. I used to be able to
do it by simply entering RHIDE via the gpr file, and running e.g. BUILD
ALL.

If I try to do the same now, I get:

c:/djgpp/include/allegro.h(31)Error: #error Allegro can only be used
with djgpp
oscil.c(77) In file included from oscil.c: 77:
c:/djgpp/include/allegro.h(136)Warning: "END_OF_FUNCTION" redefined
oscil.c(54)Warning: this is the location of the previous definition
c:/djgpp/include/allegro.h(137)Warning: "LOCK_VARIABLE" redefined
oscil.c(55)Warning: this is the location of the previous definition
c:/djgpp/include/allegro.h(138)Warning: "LOCK_FUNCTION" redefined
oscil.c(56)Warning: this is the location of the previous variable
There were some errors

This despite the fact that I am in RHIDE.

I have tried various things - none of them worked.

Part of the problem might lie in my attempts earlier this year to use
Borland C to compile some simple programs I'd written myself (probably
messing up my djgpp setup in the process).

I would be very grateful if you could point me in the right direction -
I'm getting pretty desparate, because I have to run a number of
experiments in order to finish my thesis.

Please find attached my config.sys, autoexec.bat and environ.lst files.
The output of go32-v2 is:

DPMI memory available 8443 Kb
DPMI swap space available: 26133 Kb
(I omit the first part of the output, i.e., instructions).

Should you need any more information, please do not hesitate to contact
me.

Thank you in advance,

Alex Aksentijevic
