In that case, let me give another hint: Your subject line says you're
using OS/2. DJGPP may not be the optimal tool for the task, then,
depending on what you want to do with it. The usual choice on OS/2 is
another GCC port, called 'emx'. You'll find in on any sensible OS/2
software collection, including the well-known 'Hobbes' service.

The question that decides between the two is whether you want to be
able to use OS/2 applications, too. DJGPP only builds DOS programs,
whereas EMX can build both OS/2 apps, too.

As to your request for basic instruction on using the compiler: see
the file 'README.1st' that should have come with the download. And of
course consult the link to the user guide given by DJ in his reply,
too.
