Sounds like the installation routine on the CD that comes with the book did
not copy "stubify.exe" to your hard disk or copied it to the wrong
directory. "stubify.exe" should be in the same directory as "gcc.exe" (in my
installation this is c:\djgpp\bin). Find "stubify.exe" on the book's CD (I
think it is in the directory d:\3rdparty\djgpp\extract\bin assuming that
"d:" is your CD drive) and manually copy it to the same directory as
"gcc.exe".

trying to compile the first 'example-program" which comes with the book
("hello world"). The compiler does put out an .exe-file but comes with the
following error message: gxx.exe: installation problem, cannot exec
'stubify': No such file or directory (ENOENT). Is there anyone who can tell
me what caused this problem and how to solve it?
