about the line "delete [] s1;  Only one error I don't understand.  Usually,
when I
download, I get many more errors. Try downloading a windows midi player and
compiling

Has anyone ever compiled a downloaded C or C++ program.  Should I try gcc
2.95.2 (not djgpp), borland 4.5, pacific C, CBuilder 4. I'm too lazy to try
them all, it's always errors I don't understand or Include files that aren't
available.  Back to Java for a while.  Only one compiler
