FLY is an 8-bit animation toolkit that has a very simple API. It can
perform various forms of compression but uses BZIP (available free off the
net) as the underlying compressor. It has some cool features such as key
frames, losslses coding, dithering and blocking. The blocking methods make
horrible pictures but are usefull if you just don't have the space.

On average an 320x200 frame is about 8kb and looks just like the original.

The API includes "FLY writting" as well as reading. So you can make FLY
animations really easily!

All free!
