Sorry about the double post. Kind of new to this.
I'm trying to get this dos app to open and display an already existing .dat
file using C++. The file resides in the same folder as the .cpp files. Here
is the
code I  am working with:
# include <iostream.h>
# include <fstream.h>
void main ()
{
ifstream File;

 File.open("transactions.dat",ios::in);

 if (!File.fail())
 {
  File>> ;
  while (!File.eof())
 }

 File.close ();
}
Anyone know what I need to add to display the data that is in the .dat file?
Thanks.
