first, try 'gcc --help', there you get all command line options for gcc
-Wall is an option, which implies all of -W... options. With the
-Wall option, you get lots of warnings, you wouldn't get if you don't use
this option.
Those warnings show some unclean programming in your source. A final
release of a
programm should compile without warnings using the -Wall switch.
