OK. This fixes the problem I have reported after the previous binutils update,
namely that compiling the gcc compiler and friends from sources (gcc2952s.zip)
resulted in a warning for failure of the comparison between stage 2 and stage 3.
I previously downgraded to bnu2951 to be sure.
This was done to compile the GNU Pascal compiler (gpc).
Now I compile routinely daily gpc snapshots, basically by moving the p directory
as a subdirectory of gcc, like the other compilers, and running build.bat
(without any change to gpc sources).
In fact the only significant change was related to the losing of DPMI handles
which motivated the splitting of the compilation of the gcc suite in several
steps launched by build.bat
With this respect one compiler more is one compiler too many.
I thus modified build.bat and djbuild1.sh to enable a compilation of only a
subset of the compilers (and associated libraries) by typing e.g.
build pascal
build pascal f77
For compatibility typing only build results in the compilation of
CHILL,c++,f77,java,objc compilers (in addition to gcc), as previously.
For those interested the corresponding diff file build_gpc_djgpp.diff, as well
as a buildgpc.bat file to automate the compilation of daily gpc snapshots
(unzipping gcc and gpc sources, moving the p tree, applying patches and running
build) are available in the directory:

Hope this helps
