Since your question has already been answered to death, I won't bother
repeating the names,but you might which to consult The Jargon File which
occasionally masquarades as The New Hacker's Dictionary (IIRC). I'd
paste you a link, but there are translations in various languages and
formats, so throw it at Altavista and see what it spits back. It should
make for interesting reading, so enjoy
